During our trip from November 11 to 22, 2023, Ineke Hendrickx (Project Manager Secondary School for Girls) Vera Klischan (Rotary Club Hamburg Harvestehude) and Enke Cäcilie Jansson (Rotary Club Lübecker Bucht-Timmendorfer Strand) met the representatives of the host club, Rotary Club Lilongwe, President Rachel Silungwe, Jacob Chikoya, Noel Kimu. First at a lunch meeting at Crossroads and then in a smaller group at Africa House. The application and the budget (laptops and books for lessons, bunk beds and mattresses for the 2 hostels) were approved and local responsibilities agreed.
On February 5, 2024, Vera Klischan and Enke Cäcilie Jansson reported on their trip to Malawi and the successful completion of the global grant at the lunch meeting of the Rotary Club Hamburg Harvestehude.
